Full Stack Web Developer

The Assurance team is responsible for building market software solutions for external auditors that push the technological boundaries in the industry, with innovation, efficiency, quality and value in mind. The Full Stack Developer will work independently and in teams to develop and maintain add-ons to our Cloud offering.

If you want to:

Own features from design through to implementation;
Drive successful execution of sprint objectives by coordinating with all stakeholders across the release value-chain (Product Development, Product Owner(s), Product Manager(s), Content Providers and Third Parties);
Implement automated testing and provide feedback to the team during the development process;
Partner with Scrum Master(s), Product Owner(s) and fellow team members to identify potential risks; and
Review both your work and the work of others for accuracy and completeness.
Own the execution of client informed feedback improvements and product development initiatives; and
Coordinate with the sales, training, consulting and support client facing functions when there are specific client issues to resolve in the product.
Utilise data availability across clients, processes, functions and teams to help rationalise insights and initiate workstreams.
Keep up to date with best practices and help mentor the team to embrace better ways of developing software;
Participate in all Agile ceremonies;
Identify and eliminate persistent root causes for problems that affect your customers and team; and
Keep your team’s development documentation up to date.

And you have:

Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, or equivalent
2 years’ experience in front end development (Angular (7/8 preferred), JavaScript)
2 years’ experience in server-side development (Node.js)
Working with scalable backends (microservices, REST API, lambda) – Advantageous
Working in an Agile environment
