Market and Business Development Manager

The objective of employing a Market and Business Development Manager for the CaseWare Africa Division is to build the CaseWare Africa and Adapt IT brands across the professional accountant market across Africa. The incumbent will serve as the custodian of strategic stakeholder management and engagements for both external and internal stakeholders.

If you want to:

  • Engage with the senior leaders to identify and formulate the correct strategy to promote and develop the business in new territories and product segments;
  • Identify and present the solution to prospective clients in line with adopted strategy;
  • Drive significant uptake, adoption and transactions in the market; and
  • Develop relationships with multiple stakeholders through promoting the value of the solution and ensuring the adoption across the assigned region.
  • Achieve revenue and GP targets as per sales plan;
  • Manage pipeline and activities accordingly;
  • Adopt the CaseWare Africa sales methodology;
  • Attend sales meetings to report on progress against sales plans;
  • Maintain a discipline in the logging of every interaction on;
  • Provide Key Account Plans and sales feedback reports as required;
  • Develop and maintain excellent product knowledge to ensure our products are well represented in the market;
  • Develop and grow strategic relationships with the customer so that they have the best possible customer experience; and
  • Develop and grow key internal relationships to support network firm client needs.
  • Achieve client satisfaction and retention, across territories and product verticals;
  • Co-ordinate the involvement of international partners and company personnel, including support, marketing, and management resources, in order to meet performance objectives and customers’ expectations both for new and existing clients; and
  • Own the responsibility of the client’s needs, expectations and requirements, ensuring consistency and accuracy of the solutions delivered

And you have:

  • Completed Matric, Accounting Degree.
  • At least 5 years sales (either internal or external) experience in high-volume environment. Accounting and Audit technical knowledge.
  • Accounting software experience
  • Good computer literacy Experience in working with a CRM system ( an advantage)
  • Accounting background preferable.

And these essential skills:

  • Solid experience with CRM systems (Salesforce is preferrable);
    Comprehensive understanding of reading and managing Sales Dashboards; and
  • Expert knowledge of MS Office & the Google Drives Suite.
  • Strong storytelling sales ability, with personal credibility capable of effectively interacting with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Sound influencing skills in dealing with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Focused and results oriented, is driven by excellence and executes with optimism;
  • Sound values with high integrity;
  • Effective communicator at all levels;
  • Thinking and acting in the interests of the Group as well as the Division;
  • Ability to develop compelling Sales Initiatives that deliver results with a strong attention to detail;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressured and collaborative environment and being persistent in all tasks in a self-disciplined manner;
  • Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines with little supervision;
  • Ability to analyse business opportunities and read situations well via Sales Dashboards; and
  • Mature individual with high level of emotional intelligence
